Varsity Maps is an Alert guidance and communication platform for educational institutions.
Our platform offers guidance and mapping of the entire school or university campus, including building to building guidance and detailed building floor plans with classroom search.
One of the core functions of the platform is communication. This is a 2-level communication system with the ability to alert campus police, security, and medical personnel directly of an emergency or incident with geo location for accurate and direct response. Secondly, the system offers a broadcast communication system that allows the institution to communicate with students and faculty alike.
This allows for communication of room changes, class cancellations, updates and general informational broadcasts. These can trigger live notifications direct to student and faculty devices ensuring a more direct delivery of information compared to conventional communications such as email and notice boards.
